Society for Biomolecular Sciences Announces Call for Papers
14 Jun 2010: The Society for Biomolecular Sciences (SBS) announced today that they are accepting abstracts for the SBS 17th Annual Conference and Exhibition, Advancing the Science of Drug Discovery, which will take place March 27- 31, 2011 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Society for Biomolecular Sciences to Hold Conference in Asia
21 May 2010: The Society for Biomolecular Sciences (SBS) announces that they will hold the first in a planned series of annual SBS meetings in China, December 7 – 9, 2010. The conference, Innovation in Drug Discovery: Science & Technology, will be held at the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel in Shanghai.

Members Approve SBS-ALA Merger
11 May 2010: The leaders of the Society for Biomolecular Sciences (SBS) and the Association for Laboratory Automation (ALA) have been strategizing a merger to unite their scientific societies as one inclusive organization—the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS). As of Wednesday, May 5, both memberships officially authorized the merger with more than 95% of the votes cast in favor.

SBS Announces Top Ten Poster Winners at SBS 2010 Conference
04 May 2010: The Society for Biomolecular Sciences (SBS) announces the top ten poster winners of the SBS 2010 Conference and Exhibition. Posters were on display in the exhibit hall at the conference, which took place at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona, April 11 – 15.

SBS Announces the Election of New Board Members
 02 Feb 2010: The Society for Biomolecular Sciences (SBS) is pleased to announce the election of two new board members, Melvin Reichman, Ph.D. and Sue Holland-Crimmin, Ph.D. and the re-election of John Wang, Ph.D.. Each will serve a three-year term on the SBS Board of Directors.

AAPS to Co-Sponsor SBS Biopharmaceuticals Symposium
22 Jan 2010: The Society for Biomolecular Sciences (SBS) announced that the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) will co-sponsor the upcoming SBS symposium, Biopharmaceuticals: Exploring Synergies Across Drug Formats in San Francisco, Ca in May 2010. The SBS symposium will take place at the San Francisco Hilton Union Square, the same location as the 2010 AAPS National Biotechnology Conference.

2006 SBS President’s Award Presented to Stephen Rees

Society for Biomolecular Sciences Presents its 13th Annual Conference & Exhibition
